Lloyd Trotter Elected to PepsiCo Board of Directors

Pepsico, one of the world's largest food and beverage companies, announced today that Lloyd G. Trotter, a general partner of GenNx360 Capital Partners, has been elected to the company's board of directors and will join the board effective March 14th, 2008. Mr. Trotter's election to the board, along with Ian Cook, president and chief executive of Colgate-Palmolive Company, one of the world's oldest and most respected consumer products companies, brings the total number of directors at Pepsico to 12 and the number of independent outside directors to 10.
In helping to guide Pepsico, Mr. Trotter expects to draw upon his 37 years of experience at General Electric, where he will be retiring at the end of the month after serving as vice chairman.
